Animoto, Yay or Nay? By Andy S.

Animoto is a quick easy way to make an audio/visual presentation. You can find it online at animoto.com; it is so easy that you can do it from your iPhone. It takes ordinary photos and automatically turns them into fast paced, MTV-style music videos.
I think that not everyone needs such a program to make presentations. It might reach out to teachers and educators to make a "snazzy" presentation. Despite this, it won't be popular. There isn't a demand for movie/presentation editors. People who often need to make presentations usually have and know how to use their own professional software where they have more control over the content and the flow. So it won't be the "it" product. I think that it might hurt the economy a tad bit because it's making video editing too easy. It can take business away from the actual movie making biz.
4. I would not buy this product. I enjoy making my own presentations on my own software. It takes the fun out of it. I also like having control over the content in my presentations, which I donÆt think Animoto gives you.
