Sony's Daily Edition by Kate P.

Sony's Daily Edition is a brand new potable reader with a touch screen. It uses AT&T's 3G network to wirelessly download not only books but also newspapers and magazines too. The main difference from an Amazon Kindle is that you can download your reading material from multiple places not just Amazon.
I think that portable readers will be a large success. I believe this specific edition will do well for a couple reasons. It is able to use ePub, which many libraries use to lend their electronic books. You can also download your text from a number of places where as the kindle can only download from Amazon. I think that the idea of portable readers will last a long time. However, with how quickly we are able to create new technology I think this specific model will be in and out quickly.
I do not really have a need for this product at the time because I have access to my school library and am satisfied with the Variety of books there. However, I do think that it is a good product for adults on the go.
