Cash for Clunkers Applicances by Pugs (Matt B.)

Cash for clunkers has ended, for cars. Cash for clunkers has also just begun, for old energy-hogging freezers and refrigerators. I think this will have appeal only in one group though. This group is the people that have less need for upgrading their appliances because they will be the ones being asked to get new products. This program is supposed to stimulate the economy. I think that lots of people will look into this for about a year and then fade away. I think this because once all the old appliances have been recycled and people all have new ones they will forget about this program. I would look into this if I had an old freezer or refrigerator so I would have some (free) cash to buy a new one.
